We took some time to check out the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Beam pico-projector Android smartphone at the 2012 edition of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Beam features a dual-core processor, a WVGA 4-inch touchscreen, and a 15 lumen LED based projector that shows images in nHD (640 x 360 pixel) resolution. While we expected little from the Beam, we came away very impressed by the quality of the projected images it created for us.
While many may be considered as a hybrid between smartphone and tablet, the Samsung company has insisted that it is a mobile phone. This occurred in the context of the fair of electronics IFA 2011, carried out in the city of Berlin, Germany.
The clarification was valid for the Samsung Galaxy Note, smartphone presented during the event, which at first glance is notable for its large size screen. To be specific, this terminal boasts a super AMOLED HD display of 5.3 inches in size. In addition, it offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a density of 285ppp points.
And the interesting thing is that the Samsung Galaxy Note users can interact with your screen with the Optical stylus that integrates so-called S pen.
On the other hand, the new smartphone is equipped with the mobile operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread and with a processor Samsung Exynos Dual Core 1 GHz, it has 1 GB of RAM and will come in 16 GB and 32 GB versions. Of course these internal memories may be extended through the use of MicroSD cards.
